Moderation in Desires

 

Chastity is to live within the circle of halal according to the standards of modesty and decency. These criteria are the most basic conditions of Islamic morality in terms of the continuation of man’s progeny, which is the main purpose of man’s desire for the opposite sex. 

“Both the beginning and the end of our path is Good manners.”

I asked my intellect “What is faith?” He bent down to the ear of my heart and whispered; “Faith is good manners.”

In short, getting rid of excesses and deficiencies and finding moderation can only be achieved as a result of proper spiritual training. This is 'Righteousness'
